Production Facility Maintenance Assistant

Location: Lewisburg, WV

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift (occasional overtime as needed)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Facility Maintenance Assistant to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of our production facility. This role assists the maintenance team with equipment upkeep, facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and general operational support to ensure a safe, efficient, and clean production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and equipment failures
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical or facility issues to maintenance leadership
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and production areas
• Assist with facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, floors, and grounds as needed
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA standards at all times
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and parts
• Support maintenance projects and shutdowns as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Prior maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a production environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
