Description:
The Facility Maintenance Technician oversees maintenance duties and focus on building repairs, upgrades and projects while following all SOP and safety procedures.

Facilitate and maintain 5-S implementation and ongoing requirements;

Conduct in-depth problem solving of facility maintenance tasks;

Adhere to and enforce Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOP’s, equipment, and safety practices;

Comply with and ensure facility technicians comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations;

Assist and advises management in facility project planning and cost/timing estimations;

Reports on project progress to Maintenance Manager; reports daily status to Maintenance Manager at end of shift;

Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
- High School Education or equivalent; some college work preferred;

Five years’ experience in a facility maintenance environment required; Number of years of facility experience may be offset by similar number of years of trade or technical training or certification in related field;

Demonstrated success in training and leading a team of employees, ideally in a manufacturing setting, to successfully achieve operational, quality and project objectives;

Intermediate math and problem solving skills;

Ability to give detailed instructions to staff for daily tasks;

Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills;

Attention to detail in the building maintenance and repair;

Ability to complete tasks with or no supervision;

Intermediate project management skills;

Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on technical documents and records;

Ability to follow GMP and SOP guidelines;
-
Ability to demonstrate carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing aptitude.
