Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Operations: Manage daily operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness of all facilities.
  • Maintenance Management: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs; oversee repairs and maintenance activities performed by internal staff and external contractors.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and vendors; negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Space Planning: Assist in planning and organizing space utilization, ensuring optimal layout and functionality.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainable practices and energy-saving measures within the facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train facility staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management practices and building systems.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in facility management software and MS Office Suite.
