Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to lead all technical and facilities operations from pre-opening through full operation. This critical role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, safety, and premium service standards across the asset, with a strong focus on managing outsourced security and cleaning services.


Job Description:


  • Manage all facilities and technical operations during both pre-opening and post-opening phases.
  • Support the development of technical and operational standards and coordinate system testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
  • Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs, operational procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Manage and monitor outsourced service contracts, particularly security and cleaning, ensuring performance and KPI compliance.
  • Oversee the effective operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, BMS, elevators, and escalators.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
  • Lead incident management, emergency response, and business continuity processes.
  • Manage facilities OPEX and CAPEX budgets, including cost control and technical improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants on all facilities and technical matters.
  • Continuously enhance safety, cleanliness, and overall customer experience across the center.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
  • Preferably a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities or property management within large-scale shopping malls, mixed-use developments, or premium retail assets.
  • Strong experience in managing and monitoring the performance of outsourced service providers, particularly security and cleaning services.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical building systems, maintenance and repair processes, and fire/life safety operations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and contractors effectively.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Full knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic, high-profile retail environment with a strong results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English.
