Description
As a Facility Manager for select countries in Middle East & Africa, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations across multiple corporate offices and engineering sites. This role is critical in ensuring our facilities consistently meet Apple’s high standards for operational excellence, efficiency, and employee experience.","responsibilities":"Manage the day-to-day operations across a diversified portfolio of multiple offices and engineering sites in the Middle East & Africa region.
Manage budgets, identify opportunities, and drive cost and operational efficiencies across all facility services.
Project manage a wide range of different project sizes within your region, from initiation to completion.
Partner and interact with Apple business functions, the Apple Places team, and key internal (e.g., Finance, Security, IS&T, EHS) and external stakeholders (e.g., landlords, vendors, suppliers) at all levels.
Oversee the management of all soft and hard services associated with the real estate portfolio, including mechanical, electrical, space management, reception services, janitorial, and furniture.
Oversee various programs designed to foster global consistency across our facilities, engineering, and real estate teams within Places.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly motivated and service-oriented approach, dedicated to providing best-in-class Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to bring cross-functional teams together (e.g., Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, Procurement) to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement.
Strong and timely reporting ability, ensuring accuracy in both written and verbal communication.
Degree qualified in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Business).
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience in facility and project management, specifically within the Middle East & Africa region.
Deep expertise in project management principles, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management for projects of varying sizes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization, including senior management, partners, and customers.
Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
Ability to travel regularly throughout your assigned region.
