Facility Mechanic/Janitor

Manitowoc County Highway Department is seeking a Facility Mechanic/Janitor to perform facility maintenance and custodial services for all Highway Department properties. This position:

• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on buildings, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and air handling equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical components, locks, and plumbing.
• Performs carpentry and painting
• Performs custodial services, including cleaning, yard work, and snow removal

A high school diploma, HVAC certification, and a Wisconsin Driver's license is required along with whatever education and work experience provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
