Role Overview

Calida Rehabilitation Centre is looking for a single-point, highly responsible Facility & Operations Head to manage end-to-end operations of our 70-bedded residential rehabilitation centre in Karjat.

This is a whole-and-sole responsibility role for the Karjat unit, covering operations, administration, staff supervision, facilities, logistics, coordination with clinical teams, and day-to-day problem resolution.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on, mature, disciplined, and capable of running the centre independently while coordinating closely with the management and clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Operations

• Take complete ownership of daily operations of the Karjat rehabilitation centre
• Ensure smooth, uninterrupted functioning of all departments
• Act as the single point of contact for on-ground operational matters

Clinical & Staff Coordination

• Coordinate closely with visiting psychiatrists, residential medical officers, psychologists, nursing, and therapy teams
• Ensure all clinical schedules, rounds, and patient-care workflows are followed
• Support the clinical team with operational and logistical requirements

Facility & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, utilities, and infrastructure upkeep
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and infection control standards across the campus
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities

Staff Supervision

• Supervise housekeeping, security, kitchen, and support staff
• Ensure discipline, duty rosters, attendance, and task completion
• Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, safety, and professional conduct

Kitchen & Food Services

• Oversee kitchen operations and food quality
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, dietary schedules, and inventory control

Patient Logistics & Support

• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, transportation, referrals, and transfers
• Handle patient-related logistics with sensitivity and confidentiality

Safety, Security & Compliance

• Ensure safety, security, and emergency preparedness (fire, medical, behavioral incidents)
• Document and report incidents such as disturbances, accidents, or security issues
• Ensure compliance with internal protocols and applicable regulations

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain records, logs, inventories, and operational reports
• Communicate regularly with management regarding operations, issues, and improvements
• Handle confidential information responsibly and ethically

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Hospital Administration / Operations / Management or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, facility management, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, hostels, or similar residential setups
• Freshers with relevant education and strong leadership attitude may be considered
• Must be willing to stay full-time on campus (residential role)
