Facility & Safety Officer – One Day Surgery Hospital

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility & Safety Officer to join our One Day Surgery Hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the hospital facilities are maintained to the highest operational and safety standards while ensuring full compliance with DHA, health and safety regulations, infection control standards, and emergency preparedness requirements.

Salary

AED 6,000 – 8,000 per month
Salary package will depend on experience, healthcare facility exposure, certifications, and UAE market experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain hospital facilities, utilities, and safety systems
• Ensure compliance with DHA, Civil Defense, OSHAD, and health & safety regulations
• Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
• Implement and monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with vendors and contractors
• Ensure proper documentation of safety incidents, inspections, and corrective actions
• Monitor infection control and environmental safety standards within the facility
• Support accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct staff safety orientations and awareness training programs
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth facility operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility and safety operations, preferably in hospitals or healthcare facilities
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with emergency response planning and risk management
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE healthcare experience preferred
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification is highly preferred
• Experience in JCI-accredited healthcare facilities is an advantage
• Knowledge of healthcare facility maintenance systems and compliance requirements

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

• facility & safety operations in hospitals : 3 years (Preferred)
• JCI-accredited healthcare facilities: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety (Preferred)
