Job Description
GoHypersonic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and self-reliant FSO to join our team. As the Facility Security Officer (FSO), you will be responsible for facility security, personnel security, program security, operational security for GHI's Dayton, OH and Minneapolis, MN offices. The FSO will collaborate with Company Directors and Program Managers (PM) on security-related issues as required; coordinate with the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) as required; and maintain entries in the Defense Information Security System and National Information Security System.
Responsibilities:
o Coordinate with DCSA and security service companies as needed
o Oversee and coordinate the construction, accreditation, operation, and maintenance of classified facilities
o Maintain control and inventory over classified containers and their contents
o Review, evaluate, and fingerprint candidates for program positions requiring access to classified information
o Maintain continuous evaluation of clearances, and handle re-investigations as required
o Process visit requests for GHI employees and visitors
o Issue courier cards to qualified employees
o Provide ongoing security training for cleared and non-cleared employees
o Maintain cleared personnel records
o Assist program managers to ensure proper implementation of security requirements
o Prepare and route for approval program documentation such as program specific protection plans (PSPPs), transportation plans, and temporary secure workplace agreements (TSWAs)
o Assist with safeguarding and marking program material including CUI
o Monitor enterprise activities and practices to ensure security requirements are met
o Enact policies and procedures to prevent access to or loss of sensitive information
o Maintain and operate the insider threat program
o Investigate and review security violations, preparing reports, and recommending specific preventive and corrective action to be taken
o Initiate commercial background checks for designated employees
o Maintain logging and monitoring of physical access devices (visitor log, key fob access, cameras, etc.)
o Knowledge of Communication Security (COMSEC) and of COMSEC account custodianship including keying of material for communication devices, and the use of DIAS
o Conduct the DCSA annual self-inspection to identify company security posture
o Coordinate with internal customers on any relevant security matters
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration)
· Five or more years of relevant experience, including at least two years as an FSO and/or ISSM in a DoD or DoD contractor environment (desired)
· Held a secret-collateral or higher clearance within the last 5 years
· Possess or ability to obtain the CDSE: “FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities” within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications:
· Thorough understanding of the NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and implantation of OPSEC best practices.
· Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
· Familiarity with DISS, NISS, NBIS, SWFT, DIAS
