Facility Technical Manager :- ( Facilites Operations from Back office for various sites)

A Facility Technical Manager oversees building operations, ensuring all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and infrastructure are safe, efficient, and compliant, managing technical teams, budgets, vendors for repairs/upgrades, and handling strategic maintenance planning, energy use, security, and compliance with health/safety codes to support organizational goals. They are essentially the expert ensuring the physical plant runs smoothly, from daily operations to long-term capital projects, balancing costs with performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Maintenance: Directing daily upkeep, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs for all building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety).
  • Team Leadership: Hiring, training, and supervising in-house maintenance staff, technicians, custodians, and groundskeepers.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Selecting, negotiating with, and overseeing external contractors for specialized services or large projects.
  • Budget & Finance: Developing and managing operational and capital budgets, controlling costs, and tracking expenses.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations (EHS).
  • Project Management: Planning and executing facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing long-term facility strategies, managing space utilization, and driving efficiency initiatives (e.g., energy saving).

Core Duties

  • Conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Managing Building Management Systems (BMS) and monitoring system performance.Maintaining records, managing inventory, and handling contracts/insurance.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
  • Familiarity with Facility Management Software.
  • Often requires a degree in a related field and significant experience in facilities management.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
