Factory Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Factory Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily factory operations, including sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining (3-axis & 4-axis), and surface treatment processes (powder coating, sandblasting, anodizing).

The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, quality compliance, workplace safety, and timely completion of projects, including specialized military and police fabrication contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, drilling)
• Oversee CNC aluminum milling operations (3-axis & 4-axis machines)
• Monitor surface treatment processes including powder coating, sandblasting, and anodizing
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Allocate manpower efficiently across production departments
• Interpret engineering drawings and verify dimensional tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining and fabrication issues
• Enforce safety policies and ensure PPE compliance
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain organized workstations
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and quality compliance
• Prepare daily production reports and weekly performance summaries
• Report machine breakdowns and coordinate maintenance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
• 5–8 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining
• Experience with military or high-spec industrial projects is an advantage
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances
• Knowledge of production workflow and industrial safety standards
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)
