A factory worker’s duties and responsibilities typically include the following:

• Operating machinery and tools at a production site
• Monitoring and troubleshooting machinery
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Assembling products or components
• Packing products or components for shipment or further processing
• Sorting and inspecting products for quality assurance purposes
• Removing defective products and rejects
