The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. This includes managing production, ensuring quality control, supervising staff & Technicians, implementing safety standards, and optimizing resources to achieve production targets. The role ensures that the factory operates efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while meeting product quality and delivery standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
*Degree/Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
*Proven experience in factory or production management (3–10+ years preferred).
*Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning ,Strong leadership and team-management skills.
*Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015 standard).
*Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
*Proficiency with production software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management:- Plan, organize, and control all factory operations to meet production schedules. Monitor production processes and adjust workflow to maximize efficiency. Ensure optimal use of machinery, materials, and manpower. Track staff/technicians performance . Lead and supervise production supervisors, technicians, and workers. Conduct staff training to improve skills, safety awareness, and productivity. Manage performance evaluations, attendance, and discipline. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machines and equipment remain in good working condition. Minimize breakdowns through preventive maintenance planning.
2. Quality Control:- Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications. Address quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to maintain documentation.
3. Inventory & Resource Management:- Monitor raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods inventory levels. Reduce waste and control production costs. Coordinate with the procurement team as needed.
4. Reporting & Coordination:- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Collaborate with management, procurement, sales, and logistics teams. Participate in strategic planning and factory improvement initiatives.
