Factory Manager

Factory Operations & Production Management

  • Manage the overall operations of the joinery factory, ensuring efficient production and optimum utilization of resources.
  • Develop and implement production plans in line with project schedules and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved.
  • Ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch of joinery products to project sites.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, designers, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare production schedules based on project priorities and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress and take corrective actions to prevent delays.
  • Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
  • Ensure effective allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials.

Quality Control

  • Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure all joinery products comply with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and improve product standards.

Manpower & Team Management

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff, supervisors, foremen, machine operators, carpenters, and factory workers.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and performance.
  • Identify training and development needs for factory personnel.
  • Ensure adequate manpower planning to meet project demands.

Machinery & Maintenance

  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor machinery performance and recommend upgrades where necessary.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.

Cost Control & Inventory Management

  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Control material wastage and improve resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores teams regarding material availability.
  • Oversee inventory management of raw materials, hardware, and finished products.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare weekly and monthly production reports for management.
  • Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, delivery performance, and efficiency.
  • Recommend process improvements and implement best manufacturing practices.
  • Support the company's growth initiatives through operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Wood Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in joinery manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Factory Manager or Production Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery production processes, woodworking machinery, veneer works, solid wood, laminates, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience in managing large-scale joinery production for interior fit-out, hospitality, commercial, retail, and luxury residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, inventory management, and factory operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
