Factory Purchaser

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase raw materials, fittings, and components for furniture production (wood, foam, fabric, hardware, etc.)
• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions to ensure cost efficiency
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages or production delays
• Coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and quality teams to align supply with demand
• Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
• Resolve issues related to damaged goods, delays, or supplier discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and inventory levels
• Keep up to date with trends in materials, pricing, and new suppliers in the furniture industry

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience in the furniture manufacturing industry (Required)
• Strong understanding of furniture production materials and components
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with purchasing software and inventory management systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
