Purpose
Provides operational, procedural, and coordination support across the faculty lifecycle during the university’s start-up and early growth phases. The role ensures consistent implementation of approved frameworks and effective interfaces with HR, Quality Assurance, and academic units, enabling the university to function day to day while foundational systems are still emerging.
Job Roles and Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day functioning of Faculty Affairs during the university’s start-up phase.

Act as a key operational point of contact for faculty-related administrative processes.

Ensure consistency and accuracy in faculty lifecycle administration.
Strategic Responsibilities
-
Support the implementation of approved faculty-related policies, frameworks, and operating guidelines.

Contribute to institutional readiness by ensuring faculty processes are documented, tracked, and auditable.

Provide reliable operational input to support future systemisation and scaling of faculty affairs functions.
Operational Responsibilities

Coordinate faculty onboarding, induction, and lifecycle administration in partnership with HR.

Maintain accurate faculty records, including appointments, contracts, renewals, leave, and service data.

Provide procedural and administrative support for faculty appointments, renewals, and committee processes.

Track faculty-related processes, timelines, and documentation to support launch and early operations.
Ideal Experience, Capabilities and Skills
Industry Experience

Experience in faculty affairs, academic administration, or higher education operations.

Familiarity with academic appointment processes and institutional procedures.
