Faculty – Data Science

Acadmiac is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Data Science Faculty to deliver industry-relevant training in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning. The role involves classroom teaching, hands-on labs, and mentoring students to become data-driven professionals.

Responsibilities

• Teach Data Science concepts, tools, and techniques
• Conduct practical sessions, labs, and real-world projects
• Train students in Python, SQL, and data analysis methods
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Guide students in mini-projects and capstone projects
• Monitor and evaluate student performance
• Provide academic and career guidance
• Stay updated with latest data science trends and tools

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of:
• Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn)
• SQL
• Statistics & data analysis
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals
• Good communication and teaching skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching or corporate training experience
• Industry experience in data analytics or data science projects
• Knowledge of:
• Machine Learning algorithms
• Power BI / Tableau
• Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark – added advantage)
• Relevant certifications – added advantage
