Job description

Training the students in communication and verbal skills. The areas covered include vocabulary-building, grammar, syllogisms, critical reasoning and comprehension.

Encouraging and motivating students to communicate fluently and confidently.

Conducting exams on a regular basis and providing immediate feedback, so as to help students rate their progress and identify their weak areas.

Imparting training based on the requirements of the industry, thus equipping the students to face placement tests.

Providing training in special skills like Public Speaking which play an important role in the overall development of the students’ personality.

Enabling students to become competent to attend exams for higher studies such as CAT and GRE.

Identifying students who lack communication skills and provide special training to help them to overcome their limitations.

Providing career counselling and guidance to students and recording the data as per the required formats.

Actively participate and contribute to the different special training drives organized by CIR for the benefit of Amrita students.

Be updated with different university related accreditation requirements coming under the purview of the CIR learning and development activities.

She/he should contribute to the periodic curriculum revisions in verbal and communication skills as per the current industry requirements.

Updating the students’ knowledge by making readily available: latest question papers, vocabulary-building techniques and newly coined words etc., through the AUMS (University LMS) software.

Prepare and maintain question bank based on various concepts related to verbal skills

Create contents and extra resources that will help students to prepare for different competitive examinations

Maintain students portfolio

Experience 2 to 5 years of Experience Required
