Faculty Member in Community Nursing
to join the
Nursing Program
. The role focuses on delivering high-quality academic and clinical education, promoting community health practices, and preparing nursing students to provide patient-centered care across diverse community and public health settings.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Clinical Education

Deliver Community Nursing lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training

Supervise students during community and public health clinical rotations
-
Facilitate case-based learning, health promotion activities, and community assessment projects
-
Teach evidence-based nursing practices related to community and public health care
-
Utilize LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools effectively
-
Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and clinical evaluations
-
Maintain accurate academic and clinical records
Student Support & Development

Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students
-
Support development of health education, communication, and critical thinking skills
-
Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback
Research & Scholarly Activities
-
Participate in research, academic conferences, and scholarly activities
-
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement
Academic Quality & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
-
Participate in quality assurance activities, committees, and program reporting

Submit course files and required academic documentation on time
Community Engagement

Participate in healthcare awareness campaigns, outreach initiatives, and public health programs aligned with the college mission

Support partnerships with healthcare centers, schools, and community organizations
Requirements
-
Master’s or
PhD in Nursing
with specialization in
Community Nursing / Public Health Nursing
-
Valid professional nursing license/registration
-
Clinical experience in community or public health nursing required

Teaching experience in nursing education preferred

Familiarity with simulation-based teaching and educational technologies

Experience with LMS (Blackboard) and digital learning platforms
