Job Description: Operations Faculty

Location: Manjeri, Malappuram, Kerala

Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Commensurate with experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Objective

We are looking for a subject matter expert in Operations Management to join our faculty team in Manjeri. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the curriculum for MBA/BBA students, focusing on process efficiency, logistics, and supply chain strategies.

Core Responsibilities

• Academic Delivery: Conduct lectures and practical workshops on Operations Management subjects.
• Subject Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge in areas like Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics, and Quality Control.
• Curriculum Alignment: Ensure teaching is in line with University standards (e.g., University of Calicut syllabus) and includes current industry trends.
• Student Support: Guide students through academic projects, internships, and career counseling in the operations sector.
• Evaluation: Design internal assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and monitor student performance.

Subject Domain Knowledge Required

Candidates must be proficient in:

• Production & Operations Management: Inventory control, JIT, and plant layout.
• Logistics & SCM: Warehousing, transportation management, and global sourcing.
• Project Management: Strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Operations Research: Optimization techniques and quantitative decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: MBA with a specialization or strong elective focus in Operations is preferred.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience in a management institute or relevant industrial experience in operations/logistics.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with operational software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam to effectively engage with students in the Malappuram region.
