Family Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Family Assistant to support families in managing daily household routines and caring for children of various ages. This dynamic role involves providing nurturing childcare, assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe, organized environment. Duties

• Provide attentive childcare and supervision for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times to promote healthy development
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate teaching to support their growth
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning up after children, laundry, organizing toys, and maintaining a tidy living space
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare assistant or preschool teaching is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with patience and enthusiasm
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities
• Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is appreciated
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other caregivers
