Family Assistant

Job Summary

We’re seeking a proactive, compassionate Family Assistant who can support our children after school, help keep our home running smoothly, and bring thoughtful structure to daily routines. This role blends childcare, household management, and logistical support. We’re looking for someone who wants to invest in a family and be part of something meaningful — someone who enjoys helping a home run smoothly and supporting kids as they grow.

Hours: 2-6pm M-F, additional up to 10 hours are flexible

Pay: $500 per week or commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

· Afterschool & school‑break childcare

· Help with homework and schoolwork

· School pick‑up and transportation to activities

· Food prep for kids; occasional family meal prep

· Folding & putting away kids’ laundry

· Tidying kids’ spaces & common areas

· Managing kids’ clothing needs (uniforms, sizing up, seasonal swaps)

· Grocery planning & household inventory support

· Assist with online orders, returns, and exchanges

· Support with packing, moving tasks, and organizational projects

· Help with kids’ training and therapies

· Declutter and maintain systems for toys, clothes, and paperwork

· Other tasks as needed

About Us

We are a warm, welcoming, close‑knit family with three kids (13, 10, and 6) and two small dogs. Our home is lively, energetic, and full of curiosity, laughter, and meaningful conversations. We value honesty, integrity, open communication, and strong relationships. We are also a neurodivergent household (ADHD), and one child is navigating attachment‑related challenges, so we’re looking for someone who can bring compassion, steadiness, and structure.

Pay: $500.00 per week
