Family Babysitter

Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Family Babysitter to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting their developmental needs. Duties

• Supervise and monitor children’s activities to ensure safety and engagement
• Prepare and serve meals or snacks appropriate for children’s dietary needs
• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap times
• Engage children in educational and recreational activities tailored to their age and interests
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies
• Support children with developmental or special needs, including working with individuals with disabilities if applicable
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the child's play area and living space
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Follow family-specific routines and guidelines for discipline, screen time, and other caregiving practices

Qualifications

• Experience with children through babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or teaching roles
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs or disabilities is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for caregiving
• Ability to adapt to different family routines and household rules

Pay: $17.00 - $28.98 per hour
