We are seeking a full-time Remote Associate Attorney to manage a high volume of family-based and humanitarian immigration cases. This role is ideal for a resourceful, agile, and forward-thinking attorney eager to develop professionally within a firm that values innovation and proactive problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of diverse immigration matters, including:* Humanitarian cases (VAWA, U visas, & T visas)* Family-based cases (adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, fiancé visas, and more!)
  • Conduct client consultations, providing clear, proactive communication and guidance throughout the case process.
  • Remain current on evolving immigration laws and policies, conducting thorough legal research to provide up-to-date and accurate counsel.
  • Prepare and meticulously review immigration petitions, applications, and all supporting documentation with precision and efficiency.
  • Represent clients effectively before USCIS, in immigration courts, and at consular offices.
  • Train and mentor paralegals and legal assistants, optimizing case preparation and workflow through collaborative guidance.
  • Actively contribute to firm growth by collaborating on internal improvements, sharing innovative solutions, and demonstrating proactive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to a U.S. state bar.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience handling family-based and humanitarian U.S. immigration cases (U visas, VAWA, and T visas) in a high-volume law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new processes, legal developments, and contribute positively to firm-wide growth initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members in a remote environment.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based case management systems and a strong aptitude for technology-driven legal work.
