Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, and organized Private Chef to manage the daily culinary needs of a private family. The ideal candidate will be an expert in both European and Russian cuisines, providing high-quality, nutritious, and flavorful meals from breakfast through dinner. This role requires a "hands-on" professional who can handle the entire food lifecycle—from meal planning and budgeting to grocery sourcing and kitchen maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Culinary Excellence: Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family and occasional guests.
• Menu Planning: Design weekly menus featuring a mix of Russian classics (e.g., Borscht, Pelmeni, Beef Stroganoff) and diverse European dishes (e.g., Mediterranean, French, Italian).
• Sourcing & Procurement: Manage all grocery shopping, selecting the freshest seasonal ingredients while maintaining high standards for organic or specialty products.
• Financial Management: Maintain a strict food budget, keep accurate records of receipts, and provide weekly spending reports to the family/estate manager.
• Kitchen Operations: Ensure the kitchen is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Dietary Customization: Adapt recipes to meet specific dietary preferences, allergies, or nutritional goals of family members

Schedule & Requirements

Days: Monday – Saturday (6 days per week)
Hours: 09:00 – 21:00 (Full coverage for all daily meals)
Experience: 5+ years of experience in private households or high-end restaurants
Cuisine Focus: Mastery of Russian and European culinary techniques
Attributes: High level of discretion, punctuality, and a service-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Proven experience in budget management and inventory control.
• Advanced knowledge of food hygiene and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced household environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a 12-hour shift efficiently.
• A valid driver’s license (for grocery transport) is highly preferred.
