Family Childcare Assistant

Provide direct supervision of children to ensure safety and well-being at all times.

Support daily routines including meals, hygiene, play, homework, and bedtime when applicable.

Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Assist with learning activities when needed.

Maintain a structured and predictable environment to support positive behavior.

Use positive reinforcement and appropriate behavior management strategies.

Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child’s activities, progress, and any concerns.

Assist with light child-related household tasks (e.g., tidying play areas, preparing simple meals or snacks, organizing materials).

Ensure children follow safety guidelines and household expectations.

Model respectful behavior, patience, and appropriate communication.
