Family Engagement Liaison

Job Purpose: The Family Engagement Liaison is responsible for engaging and collaborating with the kin of children and families involved with child welfare. The goals are to identify and establish support systems and potential placement resources for vulnerable children and youth; as well as adhere to, maintain, and provide recommendations for processes/workflows, within audit worthy format and storage. The Family Engagement Liaison is responsible for information collection, family engagement, coordination, documentation, and dissemination of information to the client to support informed child welfare decision-making.

• Job duties can include air travel and days out of town. All necessary forms of ID are required to be obtained by employee to meet these requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Alignment with diligent compliance to represent CSI's core values, work environment and services for clients' needs
• Technology skills to utilize multiple softeware systems and resources
• Understanding of the child welfare system, kinship care, with practice of high level of confidentiality of all persons and organizations
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field. Experience working with kinships care or foster care is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
