Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney with 3+ years of family law practice to join our team. This is a hybrid role that includes in-office days, in-court appearances, and remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will have the skills and confidence to independently manage cases from intake through trial. Candidates who bring an existing book of business are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a caseload of divorce, parenting, and custody matters from start to finish
  • Conduct hearings, motions, status conferences, mediations, and trials
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and trial materials
  • Collaborate with paralegal staff to ensure cases move efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain billable hour requirements to qualify for quarterly bonus compensation

Qualifications:

  • Bar admission in Massachusetts required
  • Additional New Hampshire bar admission a plus but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of family law experience
  • Courtroom-ready with strong oral advocacy skills and confidence litigating from the outset
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of case strategy and execution
  • Strong writing, organization, and client communication skills
  • Ability to bring a partial or full client book is highly desirable
