Family Law Attorney

Fast-paced and busy Law Firm located in St. Charles, MO is seeking a full time attorney with two (2) or more years of experience in the area of Family Law. The candidate must have strong writing, negotiation, and communication skills, be able to work directly with clients, have a strong work ethic, and be comfortable in a courtroom. Candidate must also posses the ability to organize many cases, to set priorities, to focus on particular tasks, to listen carefully, to think clearly, and take instructions in a cooperative manner. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Complete client intakes, obtain case files from prior counsel, attend some night courts, work cooperatively with court clerks, police departments, prosecutors, division of family services, GALs, and other sources; organize case file materials; conduct legal research; prepare and deliver pre-trial motions and objections, pre-trial briefs, witness examinations, closing arguments, and post-trial briefs; prepare exhibits for trial; and prepare witnesses to testify. The position includes paid vacation, benefits, and a 401K program.
