Our growing law firm is looking to hire a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also a must. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court, apply now!

  Competitive Compensation: Up to $220,000/year, with additional monthly performance-based bonuses.
• Flexible Work Environment: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person appearances for trials and hearings in Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, El Dorado Counties, as well as across California.

$100,000 - $190,000 yearly

• Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed
• Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
• Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
• Keep client files properly organized and up to date
• Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants
• Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
• Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required
• Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required

• Minimum of 5+ years of family law litigation experience
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Demonstrated expertise in courtroom advocacy, complex legal drafting, and financial analyses (XSpouse/Family Law Software/Propertizer)
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a technology-driven, client-centric team
