Family Law Attorney

Vasquez de Lara Law Group is looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic, professional, and highly trusted team. As one of the largest and most respected family law firms in South Florida we are expanding our offices to Broward.

We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients while fostering a supportive, collaborative environment for our staff.

This role is primarily based at our Broward office, 500 E Broward Blvd, Suite 900, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33394. The position also requires:

• One day per week commuting to our Miami/Kendall office, to collaborate with the broader team.
• One work-from-home day per week available after the probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance to clients by understanding their needs, adapting as cases evolve, and keeping the client at the center of every decision.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and manage mediations, settlement conferences, pretrial hearings, and trials.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases forward and ensure no details are missed.
• Stay current with billing on all matters and ensure clients have sufficient funds prior to performing work.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Bar License in good standing
• 3+ years of Family Law experience
• Trial experience required (will impact compensation offer)
• Bilingual English/Spanish required

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
