We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. Duties

• Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and spousal support proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools like FastCase to build strong case strategies.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining client interests.
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, mediations, and trials with confidence and professionalism.
• Advise clients on family law issues
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues on litigation matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license in South Carolina
• Proven experience in family law practice (or other litigation experience) with a strong understanding of litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Fastcase; familiarity with research techniques is essential.
• Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting of pleadings and correspondence.
• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate amicable settlements or advocate effectively in court.
• Exceptional research abilities combined with analytical thinking to develop comprehensive case strategies.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
