<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic legal team as an Entry-Level Family Law Attorney, where you will play a vital role in assisting clients through some of the most personal and impactful legal matters. <Responsibilities>
- Conduct legal research using tools such as FastCase to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court standards.
- Support attorneys during client meetings, court appearances, and negotiations by organizing case files and drafting correspondence.
- Participate in client interviews to gather information, explain legal options, and build trusting relationships.
- Manage case files efficiently, track deadlines, and maintain detailed records of all case activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues on various aspects of family law cases, including child custody arrangements, divorce proceedings, and spousal support issues.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending seminars and training sessions focused on family law and related legal fields.
<Qualifications>
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar of Nevada.
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Writing skills for drafting clear, precise legal documents and correspondence.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in family law; familiarity with estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law or environmental law is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlements or resolve disputes effectively.
