We are seeking an experienced Family Law and Juvenile Paralegal to join our team and support attorneys in managing sensitive and complex cases. The ideal candidate has solid experience handling family and juvenile law matters, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with family law and juvenile case management from intake through resolution
- Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Monitor and update cases on Casenet and other case management platforms
- Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and evidence
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule hearings, mediations, and client meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Google Drive or shared databases
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and document review
- Ensure all confidential and time-sensitive information is handled with discretion
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a year experience as a paralegal in family law and/or juvenile law
- Proficient with Casenet and familiar with local court procedures
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
