Family Law Paralegal (Discovery Specialist)

Well-established AV rated firm in downtown Orlando has an opening for a full-time Discovery Specialist with a minimum of THREE (3) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN FAMILY LAW DISCOVERY.

Job Qualification:

  • 3 YEARS (minimum) FAMILY LAW DISCOVERY EXPERIENCE.
  • Extensive knowledge of Family Law Software.
  • Ability to manage multiple pending projects at once.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, integrity and discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Basic knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure.
  • Must be able to work efficiently, effectively, and with precision.
  • Experience with case management system and Family Law Software a plus.
  • Florida Notary certified is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate workflow and communicate with attorney and clients.
  • Manage and respond to discovery request, including assisting with discovery request and document production.
  • Conduct investigations and research into evidentiary data and case-related information.
  • Redact, maintain and organize discovery information pursuant to the best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation.
  • Obtaining and managing client documents, including electronic data, and determining potential existence of documents that may be relevant to each case.
