Position Overview

A leading community health organization in the Boston area is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join its expanding primary care team. This position blends the personalized focus of community-based medicine with the support, resources, and academic collaboration of a major healthcare system. The selected physician will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages and have opportunities to participate in teaching, quality improvement, and population health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based outpatient care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Manage preventive, acute, and chronic conditions in a patient-centered environment.
  • Collaborate with specialists, hospitalists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless care.
  • Optionally participate in inpatient coverage, obstetrics, or procedural care, depending on interests and departmental needs.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality, safety, and population health improvement efforts.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor for medical students and residents during clinical rotations.
  • Document all care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

Required:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Commitment to providing equitable, patient-centered care in a diverse community.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in community-based or academic-affiliated practice.
  • Interest in quality improvement, population health, or medical education.
  • Dedication to advancing health equity and addressing social determinants of health.

Pay: $225,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year
