Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose a wide range of health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and preventive care strategies.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with specialists in fields like cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, psychiatry, and others for comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage acute illnesses and injuries in outpatient clinics or hospital settings, including triage and urgent care interventions.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and other minor interventions to stabilize patients.
  • Engage in patient education initiatives focusing on health coaching, chronic disease management, immunizations, and family planning.

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems like Epic and other electronic documentation tools for seamless patient record management.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques including ultrasounds, radiology interpretation, and diagnostic evaluation tools.
  • Experience with inpatient hospital medicine, including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit), or Level I/II trauma center environments.
  • Skilled in managing complex cases involving cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, or reproductive endocrinology.
  • Ability to perform procedures such as catheterization, neurocritical care interventions, airway management, and endoscopy when applicable.
  • Familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) for accurate billing and documentation compliance.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and culturally competent care delivery.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
