Family Medicine Physician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services within a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess a broad scope of medical expertise, demonstrating proficiency in managing diverse patient populations across all age groups. This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote health and wellness. The Family Medicine Physician will play a vital role in preventive medicine, acute care, chronic disease management, and health education initiatives.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and health assessments, to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients of all ages.
  • Manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions through evidence-based interventions, medication management, and lifestyle counseling.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters, order diagnostic tests such as medical imaging and laboratory work, and track patient progress.
  • Provide preventive care services including immunizations, health screenings, and health coaching tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Coordinate with specialists in fields such as psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and obstetrics/gynecology to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and basic life support during emergencies or routine visits.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and reproductive health topics like family planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with NCQA standards and ICD coding practices.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
