Pacific Medical Group – North Portland, part of the Praxis Health family, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our welcoming, community-oriented team. Our practice has been serving Portland-area families since 1904 and remains dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to patients of all ages.

Located in the heart of North Portland (NoPo)—a vibrant, walkable neighborhood known for its proximity to natural spaces, bike paths, and beloved local restaurants, pubs, and shops—our clinic is growing alongside the community we serve. With a loyal and expanding patient panel, we are excited to welcome a new physician who shares our commitment to compassionate, team-based care.

What We Offer:

  • Compensation:
    • 12-month base salary guarantee with practice ramp up: $270,000
    • Salary range of established physicians: $270,000 - $320,000/yr
  • 36 patient hours over a 4 day workweek

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Highly-engaged MD/DO physician, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Passionate about whole-person, community-based care
  • Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
  • Excited to join a mission-driven team with strong values and deep community roots
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality

General Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

OSHA Category

This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
