Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, focusing on optimizing wellness through integrative and holistic practices. This role requires a strong understanding of traditional western medicine and clinical practices as well as current knowledge of holistic and integrative approaches. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in sterile processing and possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Manage acute care situations, providing immediate treatment and interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Utilize neonatal ventilators when necessary for pediatric patients requiring respiratory support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Prefer 2 years of experience.
• Valid state nursing license with the ability to practice independently.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate diverse populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
