Family Nurse Practitioner

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse populations involved in No-Fault Motor Vehicle accidents . As an energetic and motivated provider, you will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of conditions due to motor vehicle injuries while fostering positive patient relationships. Your expertise will contribute to improving health outcomes through direct clinical care, health education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your broad skill set in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in primary and specialty care.

<Duties>

  • Conduct thorough spinal and orthopedic physical examinations and patient assessments, including height and weight, medical history review, and physiological evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses due to motor vehicle injuries across age groups.
  • Administer trigger point injections using sterile technique.
  • Manage medication administration, imaging referrals, medical equipment prescriptions, and physical therapy referrals, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Prognocis for accurate documentation of patient encounters, coding procedures with CPT and ICD-10 codes for billing purposes.
  • Provide triage services via telehealth or in-person settings to prioritize urgent cases and coordinate appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
  • Assist with discharge planning, case management, and utilization review.

<Requirements>

  • Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
  • Experience with medical documentation standards, including ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques such as sonography or laboratory specimen processing.
  • Skilled in performing advanced procedures like trigger point injections, sterile processing techniques and basic life support (BLS).
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Ability to handle acute pain management cases efficiently while demonstrating excellent patient assessment skills.
  • Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law or occupational health protocols is a plus.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
