Family Nurse Practitioner

Ideal Health and Wellness is a multi-disciplinary integrative clinic that blends traditional and holistic healthcare. We offer family practice, psychiatry, functional medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture. We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented nurse practitioner to join our growing team. We offer a positive and collaborative environment that puts patient care at the center. Ideal Health and Wellness is currently seeking a nurse practitioner for family medicine.

Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills pared with clinical knowledge and must be comfortable working in a mutually respective multi-discipline team environment that places the focus on the needs of the patient first. Provide comprehensive direct and indirect patient care in the outpatient setting within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner. Exercises autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Provision of care includes, but is not limited to: comprehensive assessment and physical examination; chronic and acute care; ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests; diagnosing and directly managing acute and chronic disease; promoting wellness; provide prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments as well as non-pharmacological therapies; provide teaching and education for patients and their families regarding wellness and disease; and ordering appropriate referrals as indicated.

Qualifications:

· Graduated with Advanced Practice Nurse Master’s Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice

· Active Iowa Nurse Practitioner state license

· Active DEA license from Iowa

· Board Certified (NP must be FNP certified for newborn to adult)

Pay: $106,426.00 - $128,168.95 per year
