We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work full time within our clinic.

JOB SUMMARY: Acts as the primary health care provider performing health care assessments, diagnosis, treatment, preventive health care, instructions and follow-up care to patients in the management of patient and family care following established protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Additional training may be required for specialty areas. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.

EXPERIENCE: Three (3) or more years experience as a Nurse Practitioner required. Experience in a Primary Care setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to independently work and make clinical assessments. Additional experience may be required in assigned specialty area.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

• Nurse Practitioner certification required. FNP preferred.
• Current licensure as RN in State of Tennessee. Additional certification in specialty areas may be required (i.e., Family Nurse Practitioner, OB Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Nurse Practitioner).
• DEA license required.
• BLS required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Constant walking, standing; lifting and positioning patients/equipment; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to access color changes. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
