Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs.
- Provide acute care interventions such as wound suturing, IV infusion, and pain management strategies to stabilize and treat patients effectively.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Athena for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience, medical imaging, sonography, and clinical research insights to inform treatment decisions.
- Manage chronic conditions such as geriatrics, diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases with a focus on patient education and adherence.
Skills
- Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Willing to hire new graduates if the candidate is a good fit.
- Extensive clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, injection administration, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence but willing to train.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration.
- Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultations effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate billing and utilization review processes.
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
