Family Nurse Practitioner

Vitality Urgent Care is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience and strong pediatric experience to join our team in Lake Zurich. This is a provider led urgent care focused on efficient, high quality care for adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections in adult and pediatric patients
Perform procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting
Order and interpret labs and imaging
Manage patient flow and varying acuity in a fast paced setting
Develop evidence based treatment plans and provide clear patient education
Document efficiently using AI assisted EMR

Requirements

Active Illinois APRN license and FNP board certification
Minimum 1 year recent Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience required
Strong experience treating pediatric patients of all ages required
Strong procedural skills including suturing and I and D
Comfortable managing high patient volume and varying acuity
Ability to work evenings and rotating weekends including every other weekend 8am to 4pm

Center Hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
