Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide telehealth services to enhance access to care for patients.
• Order and interpret medical imaging and laboratory tests as necessary.
• Manage patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring appropriate care and support.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including IV infusions when required.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in various settings
• Stay informed about workers' compensation laws to assist patients in navigating their healthcare needs.

Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Proficient in telehealth technologies and practices.
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong laboratory skills for conducting tests and interpreting results.
• In-depth understanding of physiology relevant to patient care.
• Experience in toddler care, ensuring the unique needs of young patients are met.
• Understanding of workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient care.
• Experience in PICU settings is an asset.
• Ability to perform Infusion procedures when required.
• qEEG And Neurofeedback is a plus but not required

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
