Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a primary care office. As an FNP, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, promoting health education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, providing appropriate medical interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Perform medical procedures as necessary, adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on health management strategies, preventive care, and wellness practices.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and practices related to family medicine.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
  • Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care while promoting patient education and wellness.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $124,729.00 per year
