Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing family medicine practice. You will provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, acute care visits, and preventive health services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and develop treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions common in family practice, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and more.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education.
• Conduct well-woman exams, pediatric visits, annual wellness exams, and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure continuity of care and high patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EHR system.
• Promote preventive care and health maintenance in line with evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas APRN license with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Primary Care, or Internal Medicine preferred.
• DEA license and Texas prescriptive authority required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and bedside manner.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Records systems.

• Great schedule: Mon – Thu 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Fri 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. No weekends, no call.
