Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to Pediatrics & young adults.
This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a Primary Care hybird model combined with urgent care & virtual medcine that is Pediatrics & young adults.
As an FNP, you will utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while fostering trusting relationships. Your expertise will contribute to improving community health and supporting patients with compassion and professionalism.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physiology knowledge to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses across the Pediatric & young adult age groups.
- Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, phlebotomy, treatments with sterile technique.
- Utilize EMR eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation, coding (CPT coding), and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate care with a close team of Clinicans in our facility & with specialists in areas such as ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, ophthalmology, Pulmonology etc.
- Engage in telehealth services to expand access to care while ensuring high-quality patient interactions via telemedicine platforms.
Experience
- Experience working with basic primary & or urgent care pediatrics is a must!
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine units—including PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Level I Trauma Center experience—and outpatient clinics is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like ECW; as well as well versed with medical imaging and laboratory testing procedures.
- hospital experience in emergency medicine is preferred.
- Skilled in performing Urgent care procedures such as sutures is a plus.
- Strong background in managing pediatric patients with complex needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation.
- Experience providing service working with children through toddler or neonatal care is a must.

Pay: From $118,848.09 per year
