We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and is comfortable treating patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Preferred Spanish-speaking.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide preventive care, wellness exams, and health screenings.
- Deliver women's healthcare services, including well-woman exams, family planning counseling, and preventive screenings.
- Provide men's health evaluations, preventive care, and health screenings.
- Conduct pediatric well-child visits and acute care appointments.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of family practice or primary care experience preferred.
- Experience providing care to patients of all ages preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
